Year 4 ICT Market Places

Have you ever thought of designing and creating Mobile Apps to market and advertise a product?
Our lesson will entirely focus on how to design and create a mobile app using www.appypie.com.
As you explore your unit on Market Places, ICT will focus on creating Virtual Markets for your products.

Follow these steps to create you first Mobile App.

  1. Signup an account to www.appypie.com
  2. Use your email address and password. The password can be different from the previous one.
  3. Choose the username and specify you are a student.
  4. Login to your new account using your username and password.
  5. Type the unique name of your App.
  6. Select your App category; sports, travelling, entertainment
  7. Complete the About Us Page.
  8. Complete the service page.

Year 2 Unit 1: Natural Hazards.

Year 1 Unit 2: Light.

The year 1 students will use technology to explore and learn on the sources of light. They will explore on interactive games to play and identify different objects around us that give light.


Objectives:
1. click on this link Interactive game link and play part 1 and 2 of the game by sorting out items that give light and those that don't in the respective box.
2. Play part 3, 4 and 5 by making circles around those items that give light.
3. Once you have completed the games open Microsoft word and types different sources of light.
4. In your word document add background and borders.

Year 2 Unit : Patterns and Sounds:

Dear students, as we explore and use sounds and patterns,
We shall explore how to use Audacity to record audios from the following areas;
1. Poems
2. songs
3. speeches
4. recitations.

Objectives:
1. Open Audacity application installed on your class computers.
2. plug in the headphones that contains the recording piece onto the computer.
3. Record your first audio and play back to listen to it.
4. Save the file/project on desktop or your flash disk.

Year 3: Believes.

Dear students, as you continue inquiring into your unit on Believes, remember to work on your joined assessment between Music and ICT.

1. Research on the links and videos below on the different believes: Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism,Judaism and Sikhism
2. Create a multimedia presentation on similarities and differences on any three believes and use a Venn diagram to show a summary of the similarities and differences of any three believes.
3. You can choose to use PowerPoint, Prezi, Powtoon and Movie maker.
4. Your summative will focus on the researched information, images used, religious sounds/music, videos, animations and transitions.
